In this collection of work entitled 'It’s All Pink Underneath' I am taking my body’s physical state, its unfortunate truths and its corporeal wonders and contrasting it with the way my brain perceives and interacts with it. I am making the effort to visually apprehend the mass of feeling that exists beneath my skin and portraying it on film, canvas and inkjet prints in methods that are both experimental and instinctual.
These first 6 images were made with two homemade pinhole cameras on 35-year-old expired 8x10 film as well as some 4x5 film.
